Job Summary and Responsibilities
Patient population - 18+; Geriatric
Work shift: 4 or 5 days per week
Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
Volume: 20-24 patients per day
EMR: Cerner
Procedures - suturing, cyst removal, wound care, EKG’s, cryogenic derm., etc. Will vary by experience.
Call: On call up to 4 times per month and the days of the week vary, including weekend call. Weekends are 24 hr call and weekdays are 5-8am on-call
No shift call- just after hours on-call
This is a panel position and provider will be expected to see new patients, acute visits, annual wellness, ER follow ups, etc.
Job Requirements
Completion of an ACGME approved Internal or Family Medicine residency program
Current Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain state license as an MD or DO
Valid DEA certificate

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Primary Care Physician to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ.
Under direction from the CMO, the candidate provides patient care in an outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases, performing patient exams, ordering or conducting diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease‑management plans. In this role, the candidate will also prescribe medication and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early‑detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts. Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.

Is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients
Is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona
Is board certified or board eligible in their specialty
Demonstrates a work history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital‑based providers, administrators and patients
Demonstrates advanced competency in their specialty
