615 Ventures is a Nashville‑based investment firm that creates value through the acquisition and management of commercial real estate nationwide. 615 Ventures manages retail, office, industrial, SNTL and residential assets across seven U.S. markets. In addition to our commercial real estate efforts, we also evaluate company acquisitions primarily in the greater Nashville, TN area.
The opportunity As a
Staff Accountant , you’ll play a key role in managing daily financial transactions, supporting acquisitions, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This position offers exposure to real‑estate accounting, business integrations, and asset management across a growing national portfolio. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to maintain accurate records, prepare insightful reports, and support the company’s continued expansion.
What you'll do
Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite, including acquisition‑related transactions.
Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends, callouts, or discrepancies, and research underlying causes to provide actionable insights.
Prepare and post complex journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and manage bank reconciliations for multiple properties and newly acquired assets.
Oversee accounts receivable and cash receipts, ensuring the smooth financial integration of acquired businesses.
Prepare month‑end financial statements, consolidating acquisition data to provide comprehensive reports for management.
Assist with tenant lease management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, particularly during post‑acquisition transitions.
Support Excel‑based analysis and reporting for company acquisitions and purchases.
Collaborate with the team to assist in audits, research, and compliance matters related to acquisitions.
Who you are
2+ years of accounting experience.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Proactive and willing to take initiative, especially during acquisition phases and periods of fluctuating workload.
Proficient in MS Excel for detailed financial reporting and analysis.
Familiar with financial software (NetSuite or similar) and Google Workspace.
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth business integrations.
Agile professional who excels in a fast‑paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

$65,000 - $80,000 USD
