Infant Teacher – The Learning Experience (Newbury Park) Are you a nurturing caregiver who loves infants and wants to make a meaningful impact from day one? The Learning Experience (TLE) Newbury Park is hiring a warm, patient, and attentive Infant Teacher to support early development during a child’s most important stage of growth.

What You’ll Do

Create a safe, loving, and engaging environment for infants (6 weeks – 12 months)

Support social, emotional, and sensory development through age-appropriate activities

Follow individualized care plans for feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules

Build strong parent relationships with daily communication and updates

Implement TLE’s proprietary L.E.A.P. early learning curriculum

Maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing classroom

What We’re Looking For

Passion for working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or early learning center

Reliable, calm, and attentive with excellent safety awareness

Previous infant classroom experience preferred

Ability to follow state childcare regulations and center policies

Qualifications

1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required.

Must meet California Community Care Licensing requirements — minimum 12 ECE/CD units, including Infant/Toddler coursework.

High school diploma/GED required.

Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).

CPR and First Aide certification preferred

Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
