Job Title:
Human Resources Generalist

$26-32/hour depending on experience (DOE)
Position Overview The Human Resources Generalist is a versatile professional responsible for a wide range of HR functions, providing multifaceted support to the organization. This role manages daily HR operations and serves as a liaison between employees and management, with duties spanning onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and policies.
Essential Job Functions
Facilitate new hire orientations and coordinate onboarding components based on position requirements
Manage Employee Relations: respond to inquiries, resolve workplace conflicts, and promote a positive work environment
Assist employees with benefits inquiries, enrollments, and general questions
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (HRIS and physical files)
Organize and conduct training sessions on topics like compliance, leadership development, or new processes
Ensure completion of new hire paperwork and other company documentation in HRIS
Scan and file personnel documents; keep employee files up to date and compliant
Perform audits as needed and support HR Manager in company audits
Supportive Job Functions (as Assigned)
Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and compliant with employment regulations
Schedule and follow up on 60-day reviews; assist with annual evaluations
Support HR Manager with other projects as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
2-4 years of HR-related experience (preferred)
Required Skills and Abilities
Professional working proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
People-oriented with strong conflict resolution skills
Dependable and flexible with changing company needs
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Represents the company positively and upholds company values such as Family Culture, JR Attitude, Extreme Ownership, and a growth mindset
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Primarily indoors in an office environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer
