Overview of the Role Step into a pivotal leadership position where your procurement expertise will directly shape the success of major commercial construction projects. As the Commercial Construction Contract and Procurement Manager, you'll drive sourcing strategies, negotiate high‑value contracts, and ensure seamless delivery of materials and services for new builds, remodels, and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to make a strategic impact while working alongside top‑tier construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with construction project goals and corporate objectives

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with construction suppliers, contractors, and equipment vendors

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards

Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects including new builds and renovations

Manage supplier and contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contracts and delivery agreements

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to meet equipment delivery schedules

Conduct contract review and redlining to maintain corporate terms and conditions

Analyze market trends and supply chain dynamics to optimize sourcing strategies

Lead, mentor, and develop junior procurement team members

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

5+ years of experience in construction sourcing or procurement

Proven track record with new builds and remodels in commercial construction settings

5+ years of management experience

3+ years of functional procurement experience

Strong negotiation, contract management, and communication skills

Deep understanding of construction timelines, materials, and procurement best practices

Proficiency in RFP processes and financial analysis

Professional certifications such as CPSM or PMP (preferred)

Experience sourcing specialized equipment for general contractors (preferred)
