Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory, including racks & trays, networking equipment, and other hardware Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation for all items received and shipped Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness Transport inventory by hand using material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) in accordance with safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks Assist with the disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed Adhere to safety protocols, security measures, and access controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data center operations, procurement, technical support) to fulfill inventory and logistics needs Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management and perform other duties with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency Assist in the setup and installation of computer server racks and support senior technicians with cable management What you need to succeed at GXO
Minimum requirements To be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) Ability to perform basic math calculations Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Nice to have Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; ability to work safely in a team Positive, respectful, and professional attitude; willingness to adapt Flexible schedule availability, including possible overtime Physical/ability requirements Ability to lift and move heavy material and perform physical tasks related to handling server trays and racks Use power equipment to assist the team with moving heavy server racks Company note
