Job Scope The Sales Account Manager will drive and support sales efforts in the San Francisco Bay Area territory by implementing GenScript's sales and marketing strategies for its product and service lines. Utilizing scientific knowledge and business acumen, the Manager will develop profitable initiatives and build strong customer relationships.
Base salary range: $80,000 - $100,000.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Global Commercial Head to develop and implement territory sales strategies, including new markets and applications.
Understand customers’ research applications and match GenScript’s services and products to their project requirements.
Share market insights with Sales, TAM, and Marketing teams through weekly field feedback reports.
Introduce GenScript to new markets—Industrial, Academic, and Governmental.
Drive business expansion in cooperation with the technical support team (TAM) and FAS.
Build and expand a business reference network to support new opportunity development.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or above in a life science field; or Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of laboratory experience.
1–5 years of relevant sales experience with high technical and professional expertise.
Knowledge of the biological, CRO or CDMO markets, with emphasis on gene synthesis, protein, peptide, bioassays, antibodies, and cell line products/services preferred.
Ability to work effectively in an international business environment.
Accurate weekly sales forecasting within the territory.
Team‑oriented with strong analytical and time‑management skills.
