Service Operations Administrator (Remote)

We are currently seeking a Service Operations Administrator with a top-tier investment management firm based out of Boston, MA. This role will support the Service Delivery organization’s Services Operations team by managing customer and vendor purchase orders (POs), ensuring accurate processing, billing, and financial tracking, while driving process improvements and maintaining excellent stakeholder service. This position is remote (EST or CST) and serves as a key point of contact for internal teams, customers, and vendors, resolving PO exceptions, monitoring aging POs, and supporting the efficiency and accuracy of cost and revenue administration processes. This is a 1+ year contract position that will pay between $23-$24/hour (depending on experience). Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of customer and vendor POs, including tracking, closures, cancellations, and extensions. Act as the primary contact for PO inquiries and resolve exceptions proactively. Validate and process PO requests to ensure compliance with business guidelines and financial accuracy. Monitor and reconcile pass-through costs, invoices, fees, and accounts receivable for contract compliance and accurate billing. Partner with Operations, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to enforce policies, establish best practices, and maintain consistent standards. Support project setups, fee validations, and continuous process improvements to maximize operational efficiency. Analyze reports and metrics to identify opportunities for process enhancement. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience. 1–2 years of experience in PO management, financial processing, or a related field. Proficiency with Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate financial data and ensure accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly and confidently. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach. Ability to work effectively with multiple functional teams and levels of employees. Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
