Overview
Stellar Development Foundation is seeking an Executive Communications Lead to support our CEO, managing a demanding schedule of speaking engagements, media relations, and internal communications. This role offers the opportunity to shape high‑impact messaging in the Web3 and blockchain space.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive executive communications strategy, including speechwriting, content creation, and creative development.
Lead media relations, social media, and owned media initiatives to pitch stories, manage podcasts, blogs, and appearances.
Create high‑impact content such as speeches, presentations, talking points, and strategic decks for events, meetings, and engagements.
Support CEO time optimization by coordinating meetings, speaking opportunities, and media interactions to maximize strategic value.
Serve as primary point of contact for high‑value engagement opportunities, including executive dinners, partner meetings, and industry events.
Coordinate complex travel and event logistics for internal visits, conferences, policy trips, partner meetings, and board engagements.
Balance high‑level strategy with detailed execution, ensuring vision and flawless operational delivery.
Qualifications
7+ years of executive or corporate communications experience with a proven track record in agency and/or in‑house environments.
Expertise in executive communications, including speechwriting, thought leadership, media relations, and managing complex stakeholder communications for C‑suite executives.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, capable of balancing strategic thinking and tactical execution across multiple high‑priority initiatives.
Strong leadership presence and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling narratives and executive briefing materials.
Adaptability and hands‑on mentality, including willingness to travel extensively and manage complex logistics.
Blockchain, fintech, or Web3 industry experience preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $125,000–$215,000 depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Includes equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package:
