The Position Strategy, Capital & Engagement (SCE) team – LMI’s hub for insurance business strategy, capital management, and cross‑functional engagement — is seeking a high‑performing Analyst to join our team. Strategy and Engagement: Drive strategic collaboration across Corporate functions, U.S. Retail Markets (USRM), Global Risk Solutions (GRS), and international business units by managing action items and coordinating stakeholder requests.

Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution, delivery, and impact.
Research and Market & Business Intelligence: Generate timely insights on insurance business strategies & strategic transactions (e.g., M&A, reinsurance, partnership between alternative investment managers and insurance companies) and performance across Liberty’s lines of business.
AI, Automation and Tool‑Building: Serve as the team’s AI and automation champion. Identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver scalable, technology‑enabled solutions. Collaborate with LMI Product and Embedded Tactical Development team to transform manual processes and build intuitive, self‑service tools and dashboards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
1–3 years of analytical experience in investments, insurance, banking, consulting or a similar environment.
A combination of exceptional quantitative and qualitative skills, sound decision‑making ability, and strong written and verbal communication skills; producer of detail‑oriented, consistently accurate and high‑quality work product; proven ability to translate quantitative findings into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
Strong interest in the intersection of insurance and investment; familiarity with insurance capital concepts (e.g., insurance company financial statements, economic capital, rating agency and regulatory capital models, reinsurance, sidecars, and M&A) and a demonstrated curiosity to master them quickly.
Desire and professionalism necessary to work collaboratively with internal and external constituencies including executive and senior management (across the insurance business, portfolio managers, and consultants).
Advanced proficiency with ChatGPT, Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SQL or Python, and a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent), or prior experience with Aladdin is a plus.
