Full-Time | Monday-Friday 7:45AM – 4:15PM
In-Clinic Receptionist Position
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support our team and help us provide our patients with the highest standard of veterinary care. The ideal candidate will be articulate, professional, highly organized, and detail-oriented. On-Site Veterinary is a locally rooted practice offering both mobile and in-clinic care for pets of all shapes and sizes — including small, large, and exotic animals!
What You’ll Do:
Greet and communicate with pet owners in a warm, professional manner
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle all daily front desk tasks
Invoice clients and collect payments
Manage client communications, follow-ups, and record-keeping
Handle upcoming confirmations, reminders, and patient check-ins
Communicate clearly with the team regarding client needs or scheduling items
Open the clinic in the morning
Keep the lobby and exam rooms tidy
Scan and attach documents
Receive and unbox deliveries
Occasional animal handling and/or appointment intake
Assist with general duties around the clinic, including cleaning, as needed
Programs you will be utilizing include: Ezyvet, PetDesk, CoVet, Gmail, Microsoft Suite, Payment Processing, etc.
Who You Are:
Highly organized and on-task, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
A team player with strong communication and time management skills
Self-motivated and willing to jump in wherever needed
Kind, grounded, and emotionally intelligent with animals and people
Looking for a long-term role in a supportive, respectful environment
Savvy with software and able to quickly learn new programs
Experience in a veterinary clinic, medical facility, or similar field preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person!
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in a customer service related role required
Associate degree or coursework in business administration, veterinary technology, animal science, or a related field preferred
Ability to sit for several hours, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
