Job Description
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.
The role will own the forward-looking process for a particular Managed Segment and interact with various stakeholders to drive monthly performance analysis, target setting and forward-looking analytics.
Responsibilities
Create financial reports and meet with finance team to clearly summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management
The role partners closely with senior management, responsible for the overall financial planning and analysis for a particular product, including, but not limited to the Operating Plan/QMMF/CCAR/Outlook processes
Prepare presentations and analysis for the team supporting the CFO
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Develop analytical tool to track key business performance drivers / metrics, identify the potential opportunities or risks, and enhance transparency and accountability.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members for one or more products
Is consistently able to collaborate effectively across various teams within Citi Finance
Qualifications
6-10 years of relevant experience
Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated presentation skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and strategic aptitudes, including the ability to translate complex financial schedules into meaningful analysis and presentations and assist with decision making.
Proficient in Excel and Power Point; other analysis and visualization tools a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
