Scope of Work Capio Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Test Analyst to work as a part of the team on leading the transformation of the client current SAP ECC, CRM and other on‑premise SAP systems to the latest SAP software version, RISE with SAP. This project emphasizes industry regulations and rules, implementing best practices in data quality, data migration, change management, and training services. Responsibilities will include analysis of business needs, hands‑on testing including testing methodologies, test case creation support, supporting user acceptance testers and release planning.

Responsibilities

Effective partnering with key IT/Technology Services and business communities to assist with test case development and ensure effective use of methodologies and communicate test strategies, test results and performance.

Management of test planning, test scheduling, end‑to‑end testing, date‑shifting coordination and expertise in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and supporting end user testing.

Lead as well as perform testing related activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other testing (automated and non‑automated) needs.

Participate as an active member of the test team to ensure the solution is delivered and tested properly.

Partner with peers and management team to continuously improve testing methods, processes, techniques and use of manual testing tools.

Perform quality reviews of test cases to ensure adherence to guidelines.

Serve as a Test Coordinator and support Risk‑based testing and management of the test schedule.

Facilitate meetings as needed.

Perform defect management. Document defects, Problem Incident Reports (PIRs), and assist with test case plan population.

Monitor defects, participate in daily triage meetings, report status to management, and communicate information related to releases to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Perform or support regression test activities during periodic maintenance releases.

Resolve issues by using strong analytical and technical skills to address a variety of system related problems.

Review, update, and provide written comments on all testing related documentation, e.g. test cases, test results and reports.

Mandatory Experience

Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in usability testing in addition to working knowledge of various programming languages and development platforms, sharp eye for detail and communication, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.

Must possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the Information Technology or Information System (IT/IS) fields with extensive experience in the areas of software testing and quality assurance, including knowledge and experience overseeing testing portions of entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality, timely defect resolution(s), and software performance.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years FTE experience using industry leading requirement management, test management and defect tracking tools.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience analyzing business, functional and technical requirements and translating them into test requirements and test cases. This includes producing the following documents: testing requirements, testing platform architecture, test plan and strategy, test specifications, test configuration for various tests such as integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and stress & load testing.

Must have a minimum three (3) years of previous working experience as a Test Analyst on SAP S/4HANA Transformations, implementations, and Migration Projects.

Desirable Experience

A minimum two (2) years of experience with the U.S. electric utility industry or similar Public Utility industry.

At least three (3) years of experience using Test Application Lifecycle Management tools to document functional and non‑functional requirements, design specifications, test cases and defects, and provide full traceability for projects.

At least three (3) years of experience preparing (i.e. setting & resetting) software testing harnesses including test tools and test environments, as well as formulating test data sets and test cases for various types of testing (e.g. system testing, functional testing, performance testing and regression testing).

Possession of one or more certifications from the following: A copy of the certification must be provided upon request.
