Overview

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to provide locum Critical Care coverage at hospitals in the Atlanta area. About you:

ACNP or PA-C with at least 1+ years of recent critical care/ICU APP experience, ability to formulate a differential diagnosis, assessment and plan for each patient. DEA, Active/current Georgia license, BLS, ACLS Why this Assignment

Schedule:

6p-7a Nights, weekends, and some day shifts 6a-7p available Locations:

Multiple facility locations in the Atlanta area Responsibilities (Medical/Critical Care):

- Perform daily rounds, new consults, admissions, discharges, advanced care planning / discussing end of life care / POLST. Procedures:

Airway management, including endotracheal intubation, extraglottic device placement, and safe use of RSI medications Diagnostics:

Interpret ABGs, CXRs, ultrasounds, and CT of chest EMR:

Epic Support Staff:

RNs, care coordinators, consultant groups Perks:
