- Lead month-end close processes and deliver accurate financial reports.
 - Manage account reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation.
 - Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure smooth operations.
 - Oversee sales and use tax filings, delegating tasks to appropriate staff.
 - Ensure timely submission of business filings with state and federal agencies.
 - Coach and mentor team members through feedback and development.
 - Improve the monthly close cycle and hold contributors accountable.
 - Identify and implement process improvements across accounting functions.
 - Conduct profitability analysis at entity and branch levels.
 - Coordinate external audits and prepare necessary documentation.
 - Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis for business initiatives.
 - Assist in annual budget development, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
 - Contribute to monthly financial analysis and variance reporting.
 - Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Finance.
 
- Expertise in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, and journal entry.
 - Experience in accounts payable and month-end management accounting.
 - Strong technology and computer skills.
 - Familiarity with local, state, and federal tax and compliance requirements.
 - Ability to manage multiple deadlines and reporting requirements.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 - Capability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
 
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
 - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
 - Experience with government compliance, licensing, and sales/use tax is a plus.
 - High integrity, sound judgment, and a positive attitude.
 - Eagerness to learn and solve problems creatively.
 - Ability to suggest and implement process improvements.
