Job Overview
This role provides direct clinical care within the opioid recovery center. The center is open 24/7, offering four types of services: Care for individuals in stable condition who have experienced an opioid overdose. Rapid initiation of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). Harm reduction counseling and OUD-related physical and behavioral health services. Follow-up care to ensure support in MOUD continuation. The Clinical Care Specialist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care, including initial health assessments, follow-up visits, and education on treatment plans and harm reduction strategies. Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based treatment for OUD, including initiation and management of buprenorphine and methadone. Conduct harm reduction counseling and provide services related to infectious diseases. Manage and treat conditions commonly seen in individuals with OUD. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide continuity of care. Requirements
License as a Nurse Practitioner or equivalent healthcare professional. Experience in addiction medicine and OUD treatment. Strong understanding of harm reduction principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits
