Registered Nurse in the Clinical Director role , you’ll combine your clinical expertise with leadership skills to guide patient care operations, support your team, and ensure families receive the highest quality hospice and palliative care. Schedule Full-time leadership role with 24/7 accountability for clinical operations in assigned service areas Rotating management call schedule, with occasional evening/weekend responsibilities What You’ll Be Doing As a
Registered Nurse Clinical Director , you will: Lead clinical operations and ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant hospice services. Lead, supervise, and support clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Social Workers, Chaplains, and other care team members. Guide the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), including chairing meetings and coordinating care plans Partner with colleagues to ensure seamless patient admissions and excellent ongoing care Build, mentor, and support your team—hiring, coaching, and encouraging growth Monitor budgets, make recommendations, and drive resource efficiency Serve as a liaison to hospitals, facilities, and healthcare partners in the community Promote a culture of compassion, collaboration, and professional excellence Monitor clinical documentation and ensure accurate, timely records in accordance with agency policies. Provide leadership in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for patients, families, and staff. Maintain effective communication with physicians, referral sources, and community partners. What We’re Looking For Education:
RN degree (AD, Diploma, or BSN required; BSN or Master’s preferred) License:
Current RN license in South Carolina Experience:
At least 3 years of acute care nursing plus 3 years of management experience required (acute care, home care, or residential setting preferred; hospice a plus) A collaborative, people-focused leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on support Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to build trust across teams A passion for serving patients and families with dignity, respect, and compassion
