Position:
Ironworker Location:
Savannah, Georgia, United States Pay:
$28–$32 per hour (DOE) Hours:
45–55 hours per week, with some Saturdays
Responsibilities: Perform a variety of ironworking tasks including erecting structural steel, installing precast concrete panels, and assembling metal buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures. Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components. Operate machinery such as cranes and hoists to position and lift steel components into place. Install rigging systems and hoisting equipment to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations. Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with other members of the construction team to complete projects on schedule and within budget. Requirements: Proven experience as an Ironworker. Proficiency in metal building erection and rigging operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong knowledge of steel construction methods and materials. Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Must pass
pre-employment drug screening . Must have
OSHA 10 or higher certification .
