Position Overview:
As a Graphic Design and Development Intern, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our visual identity and supporting our educational initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design: Create visually engaging designs for marketing materials, social media, and educational content. Web Development: Assist in updating and maintaining the organization's website. Branding: Develop and maintain consistent branding across all platforms. Content Creation: Design infographics, brochures, and promotional materials. Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team to ensure cohesive messaging. Project Support: Assist with various design projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Education: Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Web Development, or related field preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), familiarity with web development tools (HTML, CSS, WordPress). Creativity: Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Passion: A genuine interest in making a positive impact through design.
