This is an excellent locum tenens opportunity for a board-certified physiatrist seeking a consistent schedule, manageable call, and a team-based inpatient environment. Position Highlights:
* Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing * Schedule:
* Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays each week * Occasional weekend call (every 4th-7th weekend, flexible) * Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Night Call: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM (very low call volume, rare call-backs)
* No supervision required of other healthcare providers * Locums will be the only PM&R provider on-site during coverage Practice Setting & Patient Mix:
* 100% Adult Inpatient Rehab
* CNS Rehab: 50% * Sports/Ortho: 33% * Medical Rehab: 17%
* Average Daily Census: 14 patients * Supportive environment with 7 PM&R physicians in the group * No clinic responsibilities Facility Details:
* 300-bed hospital Level III Trauma * EMR: Epic * X-ray available on-site * 14 exam rooms * Common transfer distance: 13-28 miles from affiliate hospitals
Required Procedures:
* Inpatient rehab facility management * Sub-acute inpatient care
Candidate Requirements:
* Board Certified Physiatrist (PM&R) - Required * Active Colorado License - Required * BE not accepted for this position
