Responsibilities
- Hosting: Give guests the warmest welcome, exuding confidence and proper etiquette. Develop long-term relationships with guests by asking insightful questions, engaging with guests, and suggesting outreach event ideas.
- Team Building: Work effectively as part of a team, give and receive honest feedback, and celebrate colleagues' successes.
- Styling & Curating: Communicate the kate spade new york aesthetic; tell stories using product knowledge to connect with guests; lead with personal style and maintain a strong personal grooming standard; identify and discuss products; keep the stockroom and shop spotless.
- Business Smarts: Understand the product landscape across merchandise categories; multitask across operational tasks, shop floor maintenance, and processing POS transactions; share ideas and feedback with the team.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred
- Proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- L&L: College degree preferred
Physical Requirements
- Available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Standing for extended periods
- Able to lift boxes up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders
