Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $19.20/hr

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and marketing oriented way, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Retrieve messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate personnel.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answer general questions about the community and provide callers with address, directions, and other information; refer specific questions to appropriate staff.
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate guestroom reservations.
- Maintain current list of residents who are hospitalized.
- Update appointment calendars, including transportation and beauty calendars, as directed.
- Receive, sort, and route mail, and maintain and route publications.
- Distribute written communication, accept and sign for deliveries (mail, prescriptions, etc.).
- Maintain copy and fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes.
- Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
- Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
- Order, receive, and maintain office supplies.
- Collect rent checks from residents and family members and provide needed information to bookkeeping for billing.
- May drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations (only if required by community).
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required.
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (two-digit numbers, with tens and hundreds).
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to operate: telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier; work various schedules and shifts as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide accurate information to residents, families, and staff.
