Overview

Revco - Black Stallion, a Bunzl company, is a leading manufacturer of PPE to the welding, industrial, oil & gas, and electrical utility markets. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Accounting team as an Accounting Associate. The Accounting Associate will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Accounting Department. This position is on-site at our Revco Cerritos, CA 90703 location.

Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Review daily invoices to ensure accuracy and distribute to customer via mail, email, EDI, or online portal.
• Accurately enter vendor invoices, verify vendor information, gather back-up documentation for reconciliation, and assist with check issuance.
• Scan and electronically file all accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation.
• Enter purchase order receipts.
• Process customer returns in the ERP.
• Check trade references for new customers and respond to credit inquiries.
• Update the SAMPLE Excel file.
• Accurately process daily cash receipts.
• Answer accounting calls.
• Support various projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate/Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2 or more years of accounting experience, knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Must be highly detailed and organized, with ability to spot issues quickly and resolve in a timely manner.
• Must be able to prioritize and work under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Additional information

Revco California salary range: $22 - $27 per hour based on experience, education, and geographic location.
