Job Summary

The Operations Engineering Manager leads the manufacturing engineering team to support current production operations and transition work to the site through new product development or transfer from another site. The role leads long‑range capital planning, process improvements, and automation initiatives, while ensuring quality, lean principles, and ISO 90001 compliance. It also drives the professional development of the technical team.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team.
  • Align with and support the site lean deployment strategy.
  • Develop long‑range capital plans for facilities maintenance, mechanical upgrades, production machinery maintenance/upgrades, new product introduction readiness, process improvements, and automation/technology.
  • Facilitate the 5‑year site layout plan to maximize manufacturing efficiencies and space utilization.
  • Plan and design production processes and equipment including workflow.
  • Conduct studies of production methods, margin expansion, and other economic elements.
  • Apply approved manufacturing engineering methods to improve performance, reduce waste, and promote cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Support ISO 90001 compliance and certification activities.
  • Administer financial management by creating an effective budget, monitoring expenses, and achieving site financial targets.
  • Establish performance metrics that drive behavior on the factory floor and within work teams in alignment with site initiatives and strategies.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of heavy machinery manufacturing processes.
  • Strong work record with self‑motivation, high productivity, reliable attendance, quality focus, learning ability, and teamwork.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, including effective group presentations.
