Job Description

Security Clearance: Must already have a TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen (WarCollar Industries cannot sponsor non‑US citizens).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cyber defense teams to maintain situational awareness of current and emerging cyber threats.
  • Analyze data to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems and networks.
  • Provide detailed remediation and mitigation plans, track progress through KPIs.
  • Conduct research on threat actors, malware, exploit methods, and vulnerabilities to stay up‑to‑date with current cyber threats.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cyber threat reports and presentations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Contribute to the implementation of processes, procedures, and technological solutions to enhance operational security programs.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding vulnerabilities and related topics.
  • Work with peers to identify cyber gaps and collaborate on developing solutions to address them.
  • Conduct proactive data gathering to understand political, economic, and behavioral aspects of threats.
  • Assist with threat data enrichment, curation, automation, and dissemination within a threat intelligence platform.
  • Leverage both offensive and defensive cyber skills to identify and proactively address vulnerabilities across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6+ additional years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or a related field.
  • Strong background in both Offensive (Operational) and Defensive Cyber Security roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • In‑depth knowledge of types of vulnerabilities, network attacks, and current industry threats.
  • Experience with data analysis and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity such as CISSP, CEH.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Experience with process improvement and implementation.
  • Proficiency with Confluence, ServiceNow, JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
