Quantinuum is hiring: Hardware Test Engineer - 468 in Broomfield

We are seeking a Hardware Test Engineer in our Electrical Engineering group to test and validate the electronic control systems for our next‑generation quantum computers at our Broomfield, CO location. For this role, we are seeking someone with expertise in test engineering, software scripting and automation, and electrical design principles. Projects may include electronics with ADC/DACs, amplifiers, passive/active filtering, analog control loops, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and low‑noise designs and measurements. Key Responsibilities Develop and conduct tests to characterize and validate a complex electronics system capable of controlling digital, analog, and RF circuitry Work with a small development team to complete projects on‑time with first‑pass success Work in R&D, rapid prototyping, and production environments YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s Degree minimum Minimum 2+ years of experience in the development and execution of test plans and procedures for electronic hardware U.S. Person either U.S. citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, worker granted asylum or refugee status Must not be a People’s Republic of China national or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen WE VALUE Masters/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred Test experience on analog, RF, and digital hardware Python scripting knowledge and test automation experience Knowledge of low‑noise measurement techniques, especially for phase noise and NSD Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues Board design experience (Altium PCB software preferred) Strong communication skills and concise design documentation Compensation & Benefits $85,000 – $106,000 a year Competitive salary Flexible work schedule Employer‑subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match for student loan repayment benefit Equity, 401k retirement savings plan + 12 paid holidays and generous vacation + sick time Paid parental leave Employee discounts Equal Opportunity Statement Quantinuum is an equal opportunity employer.
