Century Group is hiring: CGP: Senior Accounting Manager in Culver City

Century Group is working with an entertainment company who is looking to bring a Senior Accounting Manager to their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $48 to $60 per hour.

Job Description:

• Participate in and direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and trend analyses
• Review contracts related to projects and support the general ledger accounting and reporting for in-process/completed projects
• Review the sales commissions and director share calculations
• Support the annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules and working with auditors
• Drive process improvement and automation efforts to standardize and streamline policies
• Partner with production team to research and analyze transactions

Requirements:

• Sage Intacct experience a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and Word required
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to conduct accounting research and summarize results accurately and independently

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 5-6 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 1 year of management experience and 2 years of experience in relevant industry
