Locums - Asheboro, North Carolina, Mammography Specialist with General Dx/Light IR

- Looking for a temporary Mammography Specialist with General Dx and Light IR Responsibilities/Flouro Supervision coverage through 2025
- Monday through Friday 8a - 5p
- Systems Used: • EMR: Meditech • PACS: Intelerad • VR: Fluency
- Fluoroscopy Procedures: Perform real-time imaging to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- General Radiology: Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs
- Mammography Specialist with General Dx and Light IR Responsibilities/Flouro Supervision - Onsite (8a-5p)
- Breast Imaging: Perform and interpret imaging procedures such as:
- 3D mammography
- Digital mammography
- Breast ultrasounds
- Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
- Fluoroscopy Procedures: Supervise and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. (3-4/day)
- General Radiology: Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs
- Light Interventional Procedures: Not a 100% IR Position (No IR Call)
- Perform non-complex procedures such as: (5-6/day)
- Image-guided biopsies
- Drainages
- Kyphoplasty
- PICC line placements
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
- Board Certified - Required
- Active NC License - Required
- CDS Certification - REQUIRED
