Experienced candidates may be considered for Chair of Medicine.
Position Highlights
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Interpret and perform cardiac diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Participate in hospital consultations and manage ongoing inpatient cardiac care as needed
- Promote patient education, disease prevention, and lifestyle management strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation
- Participate in on-call rotations as part of a supportive team-based schedule

Candidate Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
- Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate
