This is an on-site marketing position. Join the team fighting hunger in New Hampshire! The New Hampshire Food Bank (NHFB) is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing and Communications Manager to build awareness, inspire action, and strengthen our connection with the community. In this role, you’ll help shape NHFB’s brand voice across digital, print, and media channels, by telling stories that motivate donors, volunteers, partners, and the people we serve. Working closely with the Executive Director and Director of Development, you’ll also manage public and media relations efforts, serving as the primary contact for inquiries, and proactively cultivating relationships to secure positive media coverage. Content & Brand Management
Develop and manage content that aligns with NHFB’s branding Ensure alignment with t Feeding America brand standards. Create engaging written and visual content for web, newsletters, and print materials. Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and annual reports. Capture photos and videos that highlight NHFB’s programs and impact. Social & Digital Media
Manage NHFB’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X), including daily posting, campaigns, and community engagement. Design and implement organic and paid campaigns that amplify NHFB’s mission. Track and report performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite. Oversee email marketing (Constant Contact), website content, and online food drive platform. Lead digital fundraising events (Giving Tuesday, NH Gives) and seasonal campaigns. Public & Media Relations
Write and distribute press releases and media pitches that tell NHFB’s story. Build and manage relationships with journalists and community partners to increase visibility. Support leadership with media prep, talking points, and event messaging. Manage recognition requirements for grants and community partners. Event Marketing & Execution
Collaborate with Development on the planning, promotion, and execution of all organizational events Oversee event web support (landing pages, ticket sales processes, other digital forms),event branding, collateral design Support partner, vendor and/or attendee communications. Execute event marketing strategies that drive attendance, fundraising, and engagement Coordinate and/or support photography and video Requirements
5–10 years of marketing and communications experience (nonprofit or healthcare preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or English, preferred. Strong writing, storytelling, and design skills. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred Experience with social media advertising and digital analytics tools. Valid driver’s license required.
