About the team/role Reporting into the Talent Operations Manager, the Recruiting Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting our recruiting processes and fostering seamless operations for our recruiting team. This role will serve as the operational backbone of our talent acquisition efforts, managing small to medium-sized projects, handling talent requests, and maintaining our recruiting ticketing system to help our recruiters focus on what they do best - finding exceptional talent. This is a hybrid position based in either San Francisco or Denver.

What you’ll do

Support daily recruiting operations tasks, specifically managing job openings, talent requests, and our recruiting ticketing system

Partner with recruiting, People Ops, and IT teams to build efficiencies in our recruiting processes utilizing available systems and tools

Run small to medium-sized recruiting operations projects, ensuring they remain on track to achieve desired business outcomes

Develop and execute knowledge-sharing processes, including training materials, documentation, and best practices for the recruiting team

Coordinate recruiting tool development and enhancements by representing our team's needs with cross-functional partners

Analyze recruiting operations data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process optimization

Support recruiting coordination efforts as needed, including scheduling interviews and managing candidate communication

What you bring

Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting recruiting, ideally in talent operations or equivalent operational experience

Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools, with ability to learn new platforms quickly. We use Greenhouse, Gem, Workday, and Asana.

Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating training materials and documentation

Passion for recruiting operations and interest in growing within a dynamic technology company

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. On-target Earnings or Base Salary range (Denver, CO) $83,000 — $98,000 USD

At Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, and Santiago, Chile. Individuals are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week. Starting January 2026, hub-based employees will be expected to work from the office 3 days per week.
