V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking motivated candidates to serve as
Technical Writer II
in support of documentation and publication efforts. This role involves revising or creating standardized materials such as reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and other technical and administrative publications. The focus is on work methods, procedures, and the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Skills & Abilities:
Ability to receive and interpret technical direction from supervisors or senior writers; Proficiency in oral and written communication; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Familiarity with technical documents including operating procedures, manufacturer catalogs, and equipment data; Ability to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedures, and production sequences; Basic computer skills for writing, editing, and layout tasks; Ability to maintain records and files of work and revisions; Experience selecting and integrating visual elements (photos, drawings, charts) into written material; Ability to assist in layout, typing, duplication, and distribution of materials; Experience in writing speeches, articles, and public or employee relations releases; Specialization in documentation related to work methods and procedures Responsibilities
Revise or write standardized technical and administrative publications Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards of clarity, style, and terminology Maintain records and files of work and revisions Select and integrate visual elements to illustrate written material Assist in layout, typing, duplication, and distribution of materials Collaborate with supervisors and senior writers to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist in writing speeches and public relations content Specialize in documentation related to work methods and procedures Additional Information
