Save Job

The Senior Process Control System Engineer is responsible for translating business needs into a process control plan. The plan includes fit-for-purpose automation systems to better measure, monitor, and control processes in real time, yielding improvements in yield and plant stability. Responsibilities include integrating MES/data historian, improving insights into (critical) process parameters, and embedding cyber security controls and practices in the site’s organization, with a focus on OT (Operational Technology) cyber security. The Senior Process Control System Engineer acts as a linking pin and facilitator and does not necessarily perform all work; process engineers, automation engineers, project engineers, contractors, and others are often the workers.

The Senior Process Control System Engineer has a key position within Manufacturing and collaborates with process engineers, quality officers, plant performance engineers, instrumentation engineers, and other disciplines. The person will interact with site and global colleagues and will be very knowledgeable of the Dyneema process control systems, both in theory and practice. They should be knowledgeable about process control system architecture and design and OT cybersecurity risks and mitigations.
