Position MRI Technologist Per Diem Rotating
Position Summary Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review; completes all associated documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
Produce high quality images and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Complete required exams and documentation; send studies to reading station for radiologist review.
Adhere to established competencies and contribute to a safe and efficient imaging department operation.
Education, Licenses & Certifications
Education Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program. Preferred: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree.
Experience Preferred: 1-3 years.
Certifications Required: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire. AHA BLS. State license if required. Preferred: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
