Salesforce Developer

Cherokee Federal is seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other technologies. This role requires expertise in Salesforce development and a strong understanding of DevOps and configuration. The preferred developers are strong at declarative configuration and are experts in Flow, with an understanding of when to configure and when to code. Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Developer: Pay commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other benefits as provided. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other code-based Salesforce technologies. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. Know how to use Flow for complex requirements, with the ability to bridge out to code as necessary. Develop efficient and scalable code following best practices and industry standards. Develop Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages to meet business requirements. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and best practices. Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other developers, administrators, and QA testers, to ensure successful project delivery. Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for enhancing development processes and applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities

requested: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II. Minimum of ten (5) years of general work experience. Three (3) years of experience developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages. Experience with full-stack engineering (proficient in database development/integration), including three (3) years deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications. Must currently work on a VA contract with an active Public Trust or higher clearance to be considered. Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementations. Strong expertise in Salesforce platform and applications with a deep understanding of development best practices. Proficiency in Apex and declarative tools, such as Flow or Omnistudio. Experience using AWS Connect APIs, Salesforce CTI adapter, and Omnichannel configuration/API. Experience developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies (REST and SOAP APIs). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II/I, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are preferred. Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines is desirable. Experience focusing on development projects using DevOps, Salesforce configuration, and/or Apex programming language.
