Responsibilities

Manages daily operations of production control activities for systems software and hardware, data and applications

Partners with product teams to define, architect and implement tools to enhance availability, scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance of IT environment

Ensures capacity planning for IT environment and implements performance metrics and event-driven alerting

Provides advanced production support and maintain system management tools

Leads in the disaster recovery processes/exercises and ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out to maintain business continuity

Ensures that major revisions to applications in production are passed after thorough testing and proper documentation according to change management and software development life cycle

Recommends suitable software solutions and ideas for automating tasks of daily operations

Documents standard operating procedures and sharing frequent progress reports/ updates with required stakeholders

Performs other duties as assigned

Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $73,800.00 - $132,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
