Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1,200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain, serving the communities of Coachella, Thermal, Mecca, Oasis, Indio, and the Salton Sea. The district currently operates fourteen elementary schools, three middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, and one adult school. Substitute classified is an on-call as needed position. Substitutes may work in a variety of different positions depending on their work experience. Requirements / Qualifications

The following are required for this position prior to hire: Qualified candidates will be contacted to move forward to get fingerprinted for DOJ & FBI Fingerprint Clearance TB clearance (Required upon hire) Safety Supervisors REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All application fields must be filled out and the following documents are REQUIRED to be attached with your application: Current Resume 2 professional letters of recommendation dated within the past 12 months. These letters must be from a former or current supervisor. BLANK or INCOMPLETE

applications WILL NOT be accepted. Please note that if your work/volunteer experience does not match any of the positions available to substitute, your application will not be considered. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis. Selected candidates will be contacted to move forward to get fingerprinted for DOJ and FBI.
