Design, develop, and maintain real-time data pipelines using technologies like Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, and Kafka Streams. Collaborate with platform architects, data scientists, and application teams to deliver scalable and reliable streaming solutions. Help design and build reusable tools/frameworks at enterprise level. Implement data quality, observability, and governance practices in real-time data flows. Optimize performance and reliability of streaming jobs and message brokers. Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and tooling for real-time data ingestion and processing. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards. Support onboarding of new use cases and reusable components Required Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in real-time or streaming data environments. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, Flink, or Spark Structured Streaming. Proficiency in SQL and working with structured and semi-structured data. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools. Life at Capgemini
