Team Leader Electrical Maintenance , you will play a crucial role in keeping our technical installations operational and improving them in terms of electrical systems. You will be responsible for managing your team and optimising our processes. Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Teamwork & Leadership
Managing your team of technicians with a passion for electricity and/or electronics on a daily basis. You motivate and coach them where necessary
Organising shift changes and handovers to ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge
Conducting feedback and evaluation interviews
Foster a culture of responsibility, cooperation and continuous learning
Ensure a smooth production process
Responsible for a smooth production process in terms of electrical and electronic systems by managing and delegating tasks within your team
Implement/coordinate the preventive maintenance plan and take care of the necessary administration with the aim of maintaining a balance between corrective and preventive maintenance
Coordinating work with other teams and processes to minimise production stoppages
Organising and supervising periodic, preventive and fault-oriented maintenance
Continuously monitoring machine settings and intervening in the event of deviations or malfunctions
Acting as an expert when the team needs technical support
Providing the necessary documentation and reports for your own department
Innovation, Optimisation & Technical Projects
Actively participate in improvement proposals and efficiency projects
Be closely involved in the implementation of new technologies and the relocation or installation of equipment
Analyse data to support optimisations and sustainability initiatives within the technical department
Consultation, Training, & Safety
Monitoring compliance with all safety regulations, standards and internal procedures
Ensuring a trained team with the right skills by organising or providing internal training
Actively participating in audits, consultations, emergency drills and internal communication platforms
Representing your department in internal and external quality controls
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Technical secondary education diploma, graduate or bachelor's degree in electromechanics, mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering or similar
At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a production environment
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team leader or ready for the next step through training in soft skills or leadership
Strong technical insight and familiar with interpreting technical and maintenance plans
Knowledge of (and enjoys working with) maintenance management systems and industrial software
Clear and results-oriented communication, with an eye for safety and quality
You are fluent in Dutch and English
