Overview

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Business Process Architect to lead the design, improvement, and optimization of finance-related processes across the organization. This role will serve as a key driver of operational excellence within the Finance department, helping to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enable data-driven decision-making. This is a fully remote role. Key Responsibilities

Lead End-to-End Process Architecture: Design, document, and enhance finance-related business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and compliance standards. Facilitate Process Improvement Initiatives: Conduct collaborative workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify pain points, uncover root causes, and drive sustainable process improvements. Process Modeling & Documentation: Develop high-quality process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation using industry-standard tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, or similar). Performance & Compliance Monitoring: Partner with Finance leadership to define KPIs and controls that track the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of finance processes. Change Management: Act as a change champion, guiding stakeholders through process changes with clear communication, training, and support strategies. Technology Alignment: Collaborate with IT, ERP, and automation teams to ensure finance processes are well-supported by current and emerging technologies. Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Finance organization through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or MBA is preferred) 5+ years of experience in business process architecture, finance operations, or process improvement roles Strong working knowledge of core financial processes (e.g., AP, AR, GL/ACCTG, FA, FP&A) Proven experience facilitating cross-functional process improvement workshops Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies (BPMN, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification strongly preferred Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, NetSuite, SAP) and process automation tools is a plus Seniority level
