Located in Venice, Florida, we offer customized landscaping services and maintain a 90-acre nursery filled with high-quality plant material. We specialize in residential, commercial, and government landscape projects, offering hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and custom outdoor features.We are currently seeking an experienced **Landscape Designer with a proven sales track record** to join our dynamic team.### **Position Summary:**The Landscape Designer is responsible for the planning, design, and development of outdoor spaces and related construction elements for residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental properties. This role requires a blend of creative design talent, technical skills, client relationship management, and sales expertise.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Design and develop plans for landscapes, hardscapes, trellises, gazebos, fencing, driveways, and related outdoor features.* Collaborate with clients to assess needs, preferences, and site-specific requirements.* Coordinate with internal divisions, architects, and contractors throughout the design and construction process.* Analyze site conditions, including soil composition, drainage, vegetation, and existing structures to prepare environmental reports and design plans.* Produce site plans, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.* Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.* Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.* Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve on-site challenges.* Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.* Stay current on trends in landscape architecture and Florida-specific plant materials and applications.### **Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or related field.* Minimum of **8 years** of experience in landscape architecture and design.* Minimum of **5 years of proven sales experience** in the landscape industry.* Strong knowledge of **Florida-native and Florida-friendly plant material**.* Proficiency in landscape design software and CAD tools is preferred.* Exceptional communication, presentation, and client service skills.* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.**The Perks*** 401(k) plan with company match* Medical insurance* Dental insurance* Vision insurance* FSA/HSA* PerkSpot* Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance* Paid time Off* Tuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)**Pay Transparency**Mariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
