Site Merchandising Analyst

is responsible for managing and executing GC.coms merchandising strategies and delivering in-depth analysis of product assortment performance to drive channel sales goals. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless website navigation, product hierarchy, and product findability while supporting overall business objectives with precision and strong execution. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute daily website operations in close collaboration with Enterprise Merchandising, Inventory Management, Platform Operations, Contact Center, and Customer Service teams. Analyze product assortment performance using Omni reporting and other tools to identify opportunities that increase effectiveness and sales impact. Optimize site navigation, sorting, and filtering logic to enhance the customer shopping journey. Leverage Quantum Metric and other web analytics platforms to uncover insights and improve merchandising strategies, customer experience, and product category performance. Develop advanced analytical techniques to target underperforming business segments with tailored strategies. Build and maintain relevant promotional collections to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and sales outcomes. Recommend and implement new merchandising tactics, promotional strategies, and site enhancements. Partner with merchandising teams to ensure alignment with brand initiatives, new product launches, and seasonal assortments. Ensure first-to-market placement of new product launches through close coordination with Enterprise Merchandising, Retail Marketing, and Inventory Management. Review and validate GC.com promotional merchandising content for accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (UX, Platform Operations, Creative Services) to deliver superior category shopping experiences. Support Marketing Partnerships and Enterprise Merchandising in planning and executing co-op marketing promotions. Perform other duties as assigned. To

you'll

need

the

following

experience: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or 4 years equivalent work experience). Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in eCommerce merchandising, direct marketing, or related field. Strong understanding of product categories, brands, and historical sales performance; knowledge of the musical instrument market preferred. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas). Working knowledge of web analytics platforms (e.g., Quantum Metric) with focus on KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV, and funnel metrics. Experience with BI reporting tools (Omni, Tableau, etc.). Familiarity with backend eCommerce systems (e.g., ATG, Microsoft Dynamics AX). Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). $70,000- $83,000/ annually depending on background and experience.
