Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease, including drug-eluting stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices, peripheral stents, thrombectomy catheters and atherectomy devices. Account Manager, Coronary, in Chicago South . The role is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives and delivering profitable growth aligned with the Annual Plan. The Account Manager reports to the Regional Sales Director to identify market opportunities, achieve annual sales objectives, and coordinate activities with Clinical Specialists, negotiate contracts with hospital customers, and monitor market dynamics and competitive activity. What You’ll Work On
Lead all commercial selling activity for the assigned territory, focusing on Interventional Cardiologists to promote the complete Coronary portfolio (atherectomy, carotid, PCI, DES and base coronary products) and future releases. This includes influencing hospital stakeholders, driving product utilization, supporting contracting, relationship development, and achieving sales targets. Support clinical selling activity and some procedure case service, including clinical differentiation in procedures, value proposition, product launches, physician onboarding, early case coverage and training. Engage hospital stakeholders, drive product utilization, and support product deployment. Drive market development in new product segments and launches, and work to meet revenue and unit growth objectives monthly, quarterly, and annually. Develop and implement sales strategies by evaluating product, competition, and pricing needs to promote products to hospital personnel and physicians. Develop action plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) by analyzing sales figures and reporting needs with the Regional Sales Director. Build relationships with hospital personnel and identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate growth. Strengthen customer relationships by performing sales support activities such as product training, therapy awareness, and education events. Build networks by attending trade shows, conferences, and seminars; maintain clinical and technical expertise through product training sessions. Prepare and submit reports to sales management by analyzing data and projections. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of related work experience Ability to travel 50% within the assigned region Preferred Qualifications
