Conrad Orlando sits on the 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort bordering Walt Disney World with a 20-acre tropical beach and 8-acre lagoon, setting the stage for luxury which is as harmonious as it is captivating. The resort will feature 433 rooms (including 51 suites and 10 family suites), 65,000 square feet of meeting space (40,000 indoor and 25,000 outdoor), a spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and 6 food and beverage outlets (3 restaurants: rooftop, southern Italian, poolside; a cocktail bar, marketplace and in-room dining).

Responsibilities What will I be doing?
The Banquet Manager is responsible for managing the daily execution of all banquet functions to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, responsibilities include:
Manage daily Banquet functions including planning, organizing and executing breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.
Oversee setup of function rooms, including linens, silver, glassware and chinaware according to event specifications and conduct a full inspection
Monitor and develop team member performance; provide supervision, scheduling, coaching/evaluations and recognition
Recruit, interview and train team members
Communicate function specifications, procedures and changes with affected departments (Food and Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, Housekeeping)
Oversee break down of function rooms and proper storage of equipment
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
