Professional Engineer needed to work with relay protection schemes and relay logic Qualifications
A Bachelor\'s in Engineering and a PE is required for this role. Master\'s degree is not required but preferred. Knowledge of wiring diagrams and schematics. Diagrams and schematics associated with DER site equipment are a plus. (relays, inverters, UPS systems, etc.) Familiarity with testing and commissioning of protective circuits using Omicron and Doble test sets Analyses and reporting of fault responses and breaker operations Experience with hands-on troubleshooting and evaluation of equipment failures to determine root-cause and necessary resolution actions Familiarity with microprocessor-based relaying Familiarity with relay protection schemes and relay logic Experience with relay settings calculations for protective relays associated with Inverter Based Resources Interpret and develop relay logic with microprocessor-based relays Benefits
