Security Professional - Media Campus Patrol in New York, NY. You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents, and be highly visible during your shift. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities, adapting to a dynamic tech and media environment. Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or breaches of policies. Maintain clear and timely communication with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents, hazards, or concerns observed during patrols. Document observations, activities, and incidents per Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures. Assist visitors and employees with directions or questions while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
