Provide engineering expertise in the Plating, Image/Soldermask, and Mechanical areas, including process recommendation and modification. Mentor and elevate Area Process Engineers by providing guidance, technical support, and performance evaluations. Lead quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with Supervisors to address quality-related issues, conducting root cause analysis as needed. Drive productivity, cost reduction, safety enhancements, and waste minimization within designated areas. Conduct process and operator audits to identify and rectify procedural variations, demonstrating attention to detail. Liaise with vendors to address product considerations and resolve issues. Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Laboratory teams to optimize processes and support manufacturing operations. Demonstrate a "Whatever it Takes" mentality to support manufacturing needs, even outside regular working hours. Document procedural enhancements and new process implementations for knowledge transfer to engineers and manufacturing staff. Possess a Science Degree in a related field with extensive industry experience. Interface with CAM, customers, and other engineers to communicate process capabilities and limitations, with a willingness to train in CAM as needed. Provide technical support to production staff and resolve operational issues as they arise. Maintain computer literacy and technical proficiency. Occasionally travel to sister facilities for training and support. Qualifications
