A full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to join our Building Engineering group as an Experienced Electrical Engineer. This opportunity is available at either our Denver, CO or Madison, WI office locations. Responsibilities
Designing Low and medium voltage power systems Lighting systems and associated controls Fire alarm and mass notification systems
Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems Developing probable construction costs Providing construction administration and site visits Mentoring less experienced staff Other tasks as assigned A valid driver's license and some travel (up to 25%) will be required. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university At least 6 years of relevant electrical experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states Ideal candidate will have
Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems Preparing construction document drawings using Revit Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred) Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred) Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers Why Mead & Hunt?
