Overview
QinetiQ is looking for a Vice President, Finance Transformation & Systems Integration to join our team. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The VP of Finance Transformation & Systems Integration will be responsible for driving modernization and compliance initiatives across the company's finance and accounting infrastructure. They will lead the consolidation of three Deltek Costpoint environments, implement robust DFARS-compliant processes, and establish a sustainable internal audit framework. The role partners closely with the Vice President, Accounting, as well as leaders in IT, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure accurate reporting, system integrity, and a scalable financial foundation for future growth. Responsibilities
System Integration & Financial Infrastructure Lead the clean-up and consolidation of three existing Deltek Costpoint environments. Oversee the design and rollout of a standardized chart of accounts, project structure, and reporting hierarchy. Drive Costpoint configuration optimization, ensuring proper linkage to timekeeping, procurement, and HR/payroll systems. Serve as executive sponsor for system integrations, automation initiatives, and data integrity improvement project. Internal Audit & Compliance Establish and oversee the internal audit function, including annual risk assessment and audit plan execution. Implement remediation actions for identified control deficiencies and ensure sustainable compliance frameworks. Lead DFARS and DCAA readiness efforts, including system adequacy, segregation of duties, and transaction-level audit support. Partner with the VP, Accounting and Controller organization to test and validate accounting controls. Policy, Controls & Governance Lead the creation and rollout of new corporate accounting and finance policies aligned with DFARS, CAS, and FAR requirements. Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across legal entities. Implement a finance governance framework to monitor adherence and escalate exceptions to the CFO. Oversee training and change management programs related to new financial controls and systems. Transformation & Special Projects Drive cross-functional finance transformation initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Support organizational turnaround actions and post-acquisition integration efforts. Partner with IT, HR, and Operations to streamline workflows and improve financial visibility. Lead short-term special projects on behalf of the CFO, including process reengineering, policy standardization, and audit preparation. Required Qualifications
MBA or relevant advanced degree Minimum of fifteen years of experience in financial systems and ERP transformation Deep expertise Deltek Costpoint Experience with regulatory compliance, internal audit processes and risk management Ability to drive strategic change and transformation in a highly complex, fast-paced environment.
