The
Project Finance Portfolio Manager
will support the ongoing management and credit oversight of a diversified portfolio of project finance clients, where repayment is primarily dependent on project-level cash flows. This role plays a key part in underwriting, credit analysis, and ongoing portfolio monitoring across the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on renewables. Key Responsibilities
Support Portfolio Managers in
underwriting
new and existing transactions, ensuring adherence to the bank’s credit and regulatory standards. Conduct
financial, industry, and counterparty analysis
across a broad range of energy and power projects. Build and maintain
project finance models , assessing transaction economics, sensitivities, and risk-adjusted returns. Assist in
credit renewals, amendments, and covenant waivers , coordinating with credit officers and clients. Monitor
loan performance , covenant compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements. Review
legal documentation
to ensure compliance with credit approvals and transaction terms. Support
Depository Agency
operations, including wire transfers and client servicing. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of
market conditions , regulatory developments, and sector trends. Provide general portfolio administration and reporting support as directed by senior management. Qualifications
Strong understanding of
project finance structures , particularly in power, energy, and renewables. Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial proposals. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and Excel modeling skills. Strong communication and relationship management abilities. High attention to detail and organizational rigor. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal teams and client stakeholders. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, Accounting, or Economics
required;
MBA preferred . 5–10 years
of experience in project finance, credit analysis, or structured lending within the energy or infrastructure sectors. Seniority level
